The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, February 5 reveals Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) will be thrilled that his family is together.
Also coming up, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will tell Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) their father would be proud of him. Plus, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will open up to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
Y&R spoilers tease Billy will tell Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) they’re going to start small. But they’ll need to show Newman Media they’re a force to be reckoned with. Phyllis will say if he’s just using this new company to attack Newman Media then she’s out.
However, he’ll say Victor and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will not be their motivating force. The rest of Billy and Phyllis’ business based conversation will be just as mind numbing as you can imagine. But eventually, Phyllis will agree to work with him.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Jack Tells Billy Their Father Would Be Proud
She’ll head to Crimson Lights and meet with her kids. Phyllis will encourage Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) to join her and Billy at Abbott Communications. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) will say she loves the fact that she wants to help Daniel.
“But working with Billy, do you really think that’s a good idea?” she’ll ask. Phyllis will say she and Billy’s similarities will bring the company into the big time. “All he wants to do is make this the best media company in the world.” Daniel will continue to hesitate. So, Phyllis will ask what she can say to convince him to join them.
At the Abbott estate, Jack and Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will have dinner with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and his girlfriend. Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will ask Jack about his father and he’ll say he’d love to tell her all about him. Then Billy will arrive and ask to speak with Jack.
He’ll tell him Abbott Communications is going to do great things. Jack will worry he’s going after Newman Media but Billy will say he isn’t. “It’s about me building something that’s my own.” So, Jack will agree to fund him.
He’ll add that it does his heart good to see Billy so excited. “I know our father would be very proud right now.” Billy will say he felt isolated after Abbott Chancellor. But Jack telling him he has faith in him, it’s everything. Then he’ll embrace his brother.
At the main Newman ranch, Victor will be feeling his mortality. “This was a close call,” he’ll tell Victoria. Victor will say something that would make him very happy is to see all his children getting along. He feels that they’re accepting Adam.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Victoria Still Doesn’t Trust Adam
“Seeing him step in to try to protect you, I saw his courage and I see how dedicated he is to Connor,” Victoria will say. But she’ll point out it’s because everything’s going well for him right now. “He’s still the Adam we all know, he’s volatile, which is why I still don’t trust him.”
Meanwhile, Adam will welcome Connor to his new place. “Home,” he’ll say. “It sounds pretty weird but it feels good.” Connor will check out his room and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will once again drone on to Adam that they’re co-parenting only.
Connor will return to the living room and ask if they can go see Victor. So, they’ll head on over to the main house. Once they get there, Connor will tell Victor he heard he threw himself in front of Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to protect her. “You’re a hero grandpa,” he’ll add.
Connor will head off to the game room and Victor will say he’d like to discuss something with Adam. So, Victoria and Chelsea will give them some time alone. Victor will tell Adam there’s something he needs him to do.
He wants him to downplay what happened to Ian Ward (Ray Wise) on all the media platforms. “And no mention of that Jordan woman,” he’ll add. “The last thing we need is a bunch of reporters at the gates.” Adam will say he’s already done it and Victor will smile.
Finally, Connor, Chelsea and Adam will return home. “I’m so happy that we’re here and that we’re together,” Connor will tell his parents and they’ll all embrace.
